Discover what you can do at IBM.The Executive Support & Communications Consultant assists in developing the overarching OII communications strategy and outreach events planning to include the OII website, weekly newsletter, creating graphics, and writing notices. The candidate will assist in the development and coordination of written products to include DS FO submissions. The position also includes preparing talking points and workforce communications for Director and Deputy Director, OII. This consultant will also integrate the OII communications strategy by developing cross-office connections across the DS Offices and directly with the DS FO to ensure messages and products are consistent with overall DS and Agency, formats, goals and objectives, and fosters work insights and transparency. In addition, he/she will monitor and track OII actions and taskings in the Corporate Action Tracker and OII Actions Calendar.Position requires:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope polygraph

  • Outstanding communications skills both written and oral

  • Outstanding writing skills including newsletters, bulletins, announcements, emails, and reports

  • Outstanding editing skills

  • Outstanding presentation skills

  • Outstanding client relationship skills and experience working in a fast-paced client-facing environment

  • Ability to document findings in high-quality Power Point presentations, and present effectively to the client

  • Outstanding writing skills, ability to quickly put together client-ready meeting reports, agendas, and minutes

  • Experience developing, leveraging, and implementing communications frameworks, approaches, plans, and strategies

  • Experience with stakeholder management, change management, and communications

  • Experience with policy analysis and communication

  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • Passion for federal consulting and solving government-wide human resources challenges

  • Experience with Federal Government

  • Ability to quickly assimilate large quantities of information and provide meaningful recommendations and insights

  • Ability to independently combine multiple sources of information into synthesized results and recommendations

  • Ability to interact with cross-government stakeholders in one-on-one and group situations
