IBM Senior Identity & Access Management Cybersecurity Technical Specialist in MARKHAM, Ontario

IBM Security is seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Cybersecurity Technical Specialist for the Canadian Market. The IAM Technical Specialist will be responsible for all technical pre-sales activities for Canadian clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting functional requirements, designing technical architectures, and demonstrating IBM Security Identity and Access Management solutions.Responsibilities include:

  • Performing in-depth assessment of client’s IAM capabilities

  • Designing IAM solution to integrate into client's existing environment

  • Performing product demonstrations

  • Guiding customers to where they realize that IBM is the only solution

  • Identifying and build champions within your customers

  • Articulating the value of IBM Security technology

  • Performing Proof of Concepts using IBM IAM products

  • Responding to RFI, RFP and RFQs

  • Providing post-sales support to existing customers

  • Identifying new opportunities within existing clients

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 3 years of experience in security identity and access management (IAM) solutions

  • At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) products

  • At least 3 years of experience with a variety of technologies; multi-factor authentication, muti-tiered applications, databases, directory services, application servers, and network infrastructure

  • Applied understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI model), operating system fundamentals (Windows, UNIX, mainframe), security technologies (firewalls, IDS/IPS, etc.) and application programming/scripting languages (C, Java, Perl, Shell)

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in security identity and access management (IAM) solutions

  • At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting software failures and systems incompatibilities.

  • At least 2 years of experience with a variety of enterprise identity management products

  • Familiarity with ADFS, Kerberos, NTLM, OAuth, SAML, and other authentication methods

  • At least 3 years of experience in security identity and access management (IAM) solutions

  • At least 3 years of experience designing and implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM) products

  • At least 3 years of experience with a variety of technologies; multi-factor authentication, muti-tiered applications, databases, directory services, application servers, and network infrastructure
