IBM Channel Sales Manager in MARKHAM, Ontario

If you answered yes, then we may have an opportunity for you!We are currently looking for a Channel Sales Manager who will be responsible to work with existing and prospective Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to develop and promote ISV/MSP solutions hosted on and/or embedding IBM's cloud offerings. The Channel Sales Manager will be challenged to engage business partners via outreach, networking, marketing and by referral. The successful candidate with leverage a number of resources to execute against business development and Corporate goals.The Channel Sales Manager must successfully position the benefits of IBM's partner programs in an effort to acquire, on-board and enable new partners.The Channel Sales Manager will work collaboratively with other sales leaders and solution engineers within the Cloud team to shape and design solutions accuratelyThis is a forward thinking position on a team that is doing work that is highly visible and critical to the Company.   • 5+ years of successful experience in Channel Sales, Business Development- 3+ years proven track record of successful quote attainment and achieving business development targets- 3+ years working with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) and Software Integrators (SIs)- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and articulate value propositions and use cases that are compelling to customers and also motivating to partners- A solid understanding of the business objectives for outsourcing- Relevant and recent Partner Channel Sales experience and marketing industry domain knowledge- Proficient with CRM tools
