IBM Procurement Commercial Architect - Solution Sales in London, United Kingdom

The IPS team is seeking talented Procurement Solution Architects with a strong consulting background in the Procurement domain. Will be responsible for leading and designing innovative solutions for procurement transformation and business process outsourcing deals with existing or prospective IBM clients. The procurement solutions architect will work closely with the appointed IBM Sales Lead and the prospective client leadership team. In this capacity, Procurement Solution Architects will be responsible for bringing together and managing the appropriate experience from different areas of the IBM business that is necessary to address the solution requirements. Particular expertise is required in the following areas: Source to Pay processes; Shared Services delivery construct; choice of procurement IT enablers, Transformation and Transition, Commercial constructs. The solution architect will combine the inputs from these worksteams to create a viable solution that addresses the client requirements and will be able to work with the Sales lead to create innovative commercial constructs for our clients. They will work from concept through to contract demonstrating a fine balance between financial prudence for IBM and a winning proposition for the client, developing and delivering accurate, innovative, high quality and timely solutions.In addition, the Solution Architect will have the necessary presentation and communication skills to articulate the details of the solution and the value it delivers to the client in a compelling and engaging manner.Will also be responsible, within our practice offerings team, for solution development and Go to Market aspects associated with our offerings. This role will sit within our global offerings practice for procurement.

Fluent in English, candidate must have residency or the right to work in UK unsupported, by IBM
