  • Responsible for the development of the best, cost effective, technically sound and deliverable technical solutions

  • Responsible for the overall success of the solution design and cost development in a technology specialty.

  • Provide leadership and initiative to deliver new and/or complex high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements

  • Incorporate in-depth knowledge of leading-edge products and technology in conjunction with industry and business results

  • Utilize a combination of IBM standard and custom solutions to develop solutions and associated cost cases

  • Ensure consistent delivery of high quality solutions which meet client business and technical requirements that fulfill IBM's obligations

  • Accountable for the technical solution design quality and success of the engagements assigned.

  • Drive continuous improvement in Solution Design and influence the content of service products

Participate in deal reviews and lessons learned

  • Leads volume and single Service Line engagements as required

  • Can work on any complexity engagement covering area of specialty as part of the solution team for both new logo and Base Growth

  • Tasked as suits environment by client, service line, IBM Unit, or supporting new logo

  • Can be allocated as part of a larger team on SIH retained engagements at the request of SIH Solution Leader

  • Typically works 4-5 engagements at a time
