The Storage Brand Sales Specialist (BSS) is expected to be capable of working independently, or as a member of a team, or leading a team in performing a sales role in supporting the IBM Storage Product sales and providing IT Solution for the client in response to varying business requirements. The person is expected to have analytical ability and creativity in developing the IT Solution and manage the closing of the STG opportunities. The person must ensure the solutions which delivered to the clients are high quality and workable.
Knowledgeable on the IBM Storage Product Solution Portfolio from Low End, Mid Range, and Enterprise.
Knowledgeable on the Storage Virtualization Solution Concept and Active-Active Solution Concept.
Knowledgeable on the Business Continuity Solution Concept, covering Data Protection, Backup Recovery, and Disaster Recovery.
Knowledgeable on the Storage Defined Environment Solution Concept
Knowledgeable on the CAMSS (Cloud, Business Analytics, Mobile, Social Business, and Security) Solution Concept
Knowledge in Competitive Product, such as EMC, HDS, HPE, NetApps, PureStorage, Nimble
Knowledge in Industry Solution (Banking or Mid Market)
