Service Delivery Manager Role & Responsibilities:A leadership role that provides account management direction for a single service or certain types of tasks.The responsibilities of the Service Delivery Manager vary dependent on the structure of the account - i.e. if a DPM is assigned to the account. In general the Service Delivery Manager manages the day to day client relationship on behalf of Service Delivery and provides the DPM/PE with a single point of contact into Service Delivery (SD). They manage the contracted delivery of service on the account including managing the cost model, supplier management, reporting and task management of the account team. Typically involved in the management of live production systems and/or testing environment performing systems level configuration or analyzing business requirements to define, maintain and occasionally installs computer systems, network applications/systems and workstation services.
