Intermediate level – 3-5 years
11g Oracle Experience including patching and upgrades
Knowledge of ASM
Understanding of internal dictionary views and tables
Strong performance tuning
Strong understanding of backup/recovery procedures, including RMAN
Strong Unix knowledge (ideally AIX) – including shell scripting and OS-level troubleshooting
Experience with large databases and clustered environments
Desired, but not required Technical Skills:
Experience with Oracle 12c
Oracle Certified Professional designation
University or post-secondary education
Strong spoken and written English language skills
Prior experience in a consulting environment dealing with Sev1 client calls
Participation in on-call rotation/off hours deployment
At least 3 years experience in 11g Oracle Experience including patching and upgrades
