IBM Americas Travel & Expense Operations Manager in ENDICOTT, New York

IBM is hiring an Americas Travel & Expense Operations Manager. In this role, the chosen professional will manage all aspects of travel and expense operations supporting IBM employees in North and South America. Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the team supporting approximately 1/3 of IBM's global travel and expense processing

  • Maintaining operational service levels while providing high quality end user support for these services

  • Supporting continuous improvement of processes while providing appropriate business controls.

  • Managing a diverse global team.

  • Supporting the roll-out of new tools and automation with both requirements and testing.

  • Ensure that there is effective end user support and handle service escalations quickly when they arise.

Our preference is for a candidate who lives in EITHER the North Castle, NY or Endicott, NY geographic areas.

  • At least 3 years of experience in an operations leadership role (preferably expense related)

  • At least 2 years of experience in people management

  • As this person will be communicating with IBM Executives, person must be able to perform this position with facility using English with high proficiency in order to communicate effectively with Executives

  • Must be willing and available to work at the office in either North Castle (Armonk), NY or Endicott, NY
