IBM iX - Associate Director, Strategy - Resource/Ammirati in COLUMBUS, Ohio

IBM is seeking an ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, STRATEGY to join Resource/Ammirati, an IBM Company.The Associate Director, Strategy is responsible for identifying key insights that fuel the creation of compelling, emotionally-relevant and effective user experiences and marketing programs that fulfill established business objectives for brands. The Associate Director, Strategy will also lead the strategic discovery phase, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop priorities, creative concepts and marketing plans. Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in developing breakthrough ideas based on brand and consumer insights and quickly

  • Mobilize the team into drawing quick, pragmatic conclusions and quick action for

  • implementation

  • Partner with cross-discipline strategy teams to conduct research and guide the creation of Foundational brand documentation and architecture for clients

  • Lead the development of client objectives and recommendations, able to outline multiple approaches to business challenges in a timely manner

  • Design and lead strategy portion of client kick-off meetings and Insights phase, executive interviews and presentations of findings

  • Demonstrate proficiency with major information sources, strategist responsibilities, and consumer research methodologies

  • Lead, when appropriate, the development of Proposals and/or Statements of Work

  • Serve as a sounding board for approaches and solutions to quickly respond to opportunities and ensure agency competitiveness

  • Speak at client or industry events to share Resource’s point-of-view

  • Mentor junior team members on crafting and applying insights to work

  • Design primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative research methodologies

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in advertising, digital or related marketing with demonstrated business-development and team-management skills (brand management or agency experience preferred)
