The Technical Delivery Services Center will provide maintenance and monitoring of computer hardware and software systems to IBM’s business clients. This center will primarily support US Strategic outsourcing clients, providing server systems operations, security services, including maintenance and monitoring of computer systems. IBM’s Technical Delivery Services Center is focused on increasing delivery quality and brings together all of IBM's worldwide service delivery capabilities for Strategic Outsourcing.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Support problem and change tickets for server support operations for work involving problem determination and implementation of changes to hardware, software, applications or network systems. These tasks are not standardized and require independent thought and problem solving to resolve. Interaction with other teams is often required to solve issues.
Work to standardize repeatable tasks and steps across multiple accounts within a team while providing coaching and mentoring to the junior team members. This may require creating documentation or scripts that can be used to solve the same problem in the future.
Implement DBDC (CICS, DB2, or IMS) base software installs and upgrades without assistance. Support project tasks for server support operations for service requests and non-ticketed work to client operating systems, hardware, software, applications or network systems. The work ranges from routine project work and sets of tasks to non-standard problems.
Project pool job roles involve responsibility for accomplishing project work from multiple clients, including planned work projects focused on identifying and introducing improvements within a work area or process.
Team members participate once or more a day in cadence discussion on team performance. They discuss issues or challenges, and receive trouble-shooting input / advice from other team members. They may also discuss team performance trends. Team members may also separately interact and exchange information with members of cross-pool teams.

High School Diploma/GED
At least 3 years experience in day-to-day CICS systems programming support
At least 3 years experience in install, troubleshoot, test, plan and configure CICS systems
At least 3 years experience in install, troubleshoot, test, plan and configure CICS program products
Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Information Technology
At least 5 years experience in day-to-day CICS systems programming support
