IBM Software Client Leader ( Midwest Region) in CLEVELAND, Ohio

IBM seeks to hire an IBM Software Client Leader. This role will function as lead software seller and trusted advisor to clients, IBM sales teams, and IBM Business Partners. They will understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements, and competitive landscape. They will coordinate all aspects of identifying client business problems, potential solutions, and progressing through to closure - which includes articulating to our customers’ technical, management and executive staff the advantages of the IBM product set and how best to deploy the solutions we are proposing. The Software Client Leader is a software seller and relationship manager who assists in winning business opportunities across the IBM software portfolio. Required Responsibilities* Provide sales leadership which may include: collaborating with and leading IBM sales teams to understand business problems, identify potential solutions, and define, design, and detail the business and technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions within the Insurance Industry* Proposal preparation and presentation* Remove inhibitors to the sale through discovery, assessments, whiteboard/chalk talks, presentations, and demonstrations Required Skills* Communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer relations* Demonstrated negotiation, problem solving, and presentation skills* Financial / Business acumen to understand business problems and articulate information back to business owners* Ability to prioritize and work with deadlines* Ability to work well in both a team environment and independently* Ability to learn and share knowledge* Proven record of ability to learn new products and technologies quicklyThis position is located in the Greater Cleveland Ohio Region but will consider candidates in Northern Ohio and Western PA.

Required Expertise

  • High performance, ; strong sales track record; experience and results in strategic initiatives (with an understanding of cloud, mobility, security, cognitive..); experience in oil and gas or energy and utilities desired but not mandatory;

  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills are required.

  • Background in Software Sales in Highly Desired
