The Global Sales Operations Analyst is responsible to support a worldwide sales organization. In this key contributor role, you will be supporting a worldwide sales organization with reporting and analysis based on business models, sales plans, coverage models, goal attainment, and resource allocation.You will work with peer teams in other geographies to gather feedback, spread best practices, and track success. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with sales leaders to develop/optimize go-to-market sales models.The Global Sales Operations Analyst requires a strong background in modeling and analysis including the use of various analytical and financial systems and tools. Strong expertise in advanced Excel functionality is required.Essential Functions:
Support weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales reporting with analysis, interpretation and recommendations to drive improvements in current and future quarter sales performance.
Create and consolidate input for weekly, monthly and quarterly pipeline reviews with appropriate trend analysis.
Prepare pipeline coverage to plan variance reports to identify potential gaps
Forecast of future quarter sales opportunities by identifying the strengths and weaknesses of sales territories to provide insight to the sales leadership team.
Focus on SalesConnect tool hygiene, ensuring better data integrity and a more trusted forecasting tool for the organization, reducing manual updates and eliminating errors.
Review attainment and variances to understand the drivers and recommend if targets need to be revised due to potential under/over achievement.
Assist in driving consistency of reporting and forecasting across sales teams.
Provide the necessary content and analysis for cadence and sales progression calls/meetings. Participate in such calls as required.
Highly analytical with the ability to provide insight and clarity to complex business models.
Strong sense of urgency with the ability to deliver information/reports quickly and correctly.
Strong communicator with the recognition that they are working in a global team environment.
At least 10 years of experience in sales operations within the technology industry.
At least 5 years of practical experience using advanced Excel and other financial modeling/reporting tools.
