IBM Watson Analytics Digital Sales Representative in CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts

The Watson Analytics Digital Sales Representative (WA DSR) is a tele-based resource, skilled and specializing in the Watson Analytic offering, whose primary responsibilities are to identify, nurture, progress and close Watson Analytics opportunities. Watson Analytics is a digitally consumable offering.This is an exciting opportunity to experience a start-up atmosphere in a large company. The new digital sales team is a fast-paced and collaborative environment, with monthly team events, and the WA DSR will help to push the launch of an emerging product and drive the new sales model within the IBM corporation.Please note, this is a seated position in Littleton, MA. Candidate is expected to be on site. The successful WA DSR will be expected to:

  • Exceed the assigned quota on a quarter and annual basis

  • Hit weekly call targets of 200 dials a week.

  • Drive their pipeline by creating 5 to 10 net new opportunities a week

  • Manage a pipeline of 3 to 4 times the annual quota based on prospecting efforts

  • Effectively demonstrate the Watson Analytics product

  • Manage a sales process from prospecting to closure

  • Accurately forecast within 10% each quarter

  • Utilize social media and creative ideas for prospecting activities

  • Demonstrate relationship building and account management skills to expand business within existing customers

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A proven track record in SaaS/IT sales, with demonstrated skills in sales pipeline progression, forecasting, and management -- using CRM systems as well as excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Digitally and socially savvy; comfortable using social tools - LinkedIn, Slack, Twitter, Skype, Live Chat

  • Excellent negotiation skills and focus on ensuring client satisfaction

  • A high level of drive, enthusiasm, initiative, commitment; ability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment

  • At least two years of sales/inside sales experience, with demonstrable ability to reach quotas and sell solutions over the telephone
