The Solution Representatives: Services Solutions or Account Growth Sales Specialist is designed to facilitate growth of existing IBM GTS Infrastructure Services clients which is a key strategic sales opportunity. They focus on base growth opportunities in existing accounts in an opportunity identification (OI) and opportunity owner (OO) capacity, although depending on deal content, they may engage other service line sellers to act as OO. The Account Growth Sales Specialist is expected to demonstrate sales leadership and proficiency in identifying, qualifying and frequently closing complex IBM solutions for existing customers. These solutions may encompass multiple service lines as well as other IBM brands. They must master opportunity development tools and techniques such as the CIO Agenda and lead account/opportunity planning under the Project Executive's guidance. The Account Growth Sales Specialist must develop expertise in multiple services lines and demonstrate the ability to lead the development of a solution to satisfy customer requirements. Their core mission will primarily be for services where the CIO is the primary customer. The scope extensions will typically range from $1-20M USD.
5 - 10 years of experience in Sales
Previous experience in Infrastructure sales within the Telecom sector
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
