IBM Procurement Tactical Buyer for Spain in BUDAPEST, Hungary

The main activity of the Procurement Tactical Buyer is to create documents regarding orders following approved prescriptions, meeting all predefined standards for quality, following existing measures and deadlines. Procurement Operations Byers are responsible for coping with problems stemming from “blocked” invoices. They are responsible for transactions in the relevant country for which service is provided. Communication relations:

  • Communication with commerce and financial departments, managers and specialist involved in the process of planning and implementing the process of supplying goods for IBM office needs.

  • Communication with any other IBM agent worldwide involved in the supply chain

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the process of supplying goods for IBM offices – ensures smooth order flow, complying with standards for quality and deadlines

  • Ensuring smooth orders flow when possible by creating, developing and archiving proper documentation for every supplier part of the supply chain.

  • Communication with stakeholders in order to distribute the orders towards the most proper supplier.

  • Turning to suppliers for quote requests, price validation, proper documentation, etc. when necessary.

  • Dealing with “blocked” invoices following agreed corporate procedures and CRA3 standards.

  • Communication with line managers and stakeholders for coping with extraordinary situations.

  • Cooperating and helping other teams both in the Procurement Organization including: orders and requests processing, business controlling, communication with other Procurement Centers.

  • Taking responsibilities for actions form higher management level such as contract management for different suppliers.

  • Supporting simple RFxs, sourcing activities until a certain clip level

  • Supplier management activities (onboarding, supplier data changes, extension etc.)

  • Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the manager, team leader and other Commodity Council members

  • English: fluent

  • Spanish: fluent

  • Experience in Procurement

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Good communication skills
