IBM AP Country Focal Point in BUDAPEST, Hungary

Act as the 2nd level Accounts Payable support for countries using CAAPS system (Invoice Resolution Team). Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Act as prime contact for the country/region.

  • Provide correct and timely response to e-mails sent to the task id used by the team

  • Follow provided procedures, documentation, instructions and Internal Audit & Business Controls guidelines.

  • Become the process expert for your country/region

  • Ensure quality and accurate work at all times.

  • Be responsible for and manage the day to day activities of the country/region

  • Ensure that any open items under APC responsibility are followed up and problems resolved in timely manner.

  • Ensure that reports are reviewed correctly and timely and provided to the team leaders or the management for sign off if required.

  • Return invoices to the supplier when appropriate.

  • Ensure good team work at all times.

  • Raise any issues / problems with the team leaders or the management

  • Assist in training of new staff

  • Ensure adequate cover in the team at all times during vacation and sickness and ensure that the team leaders and the management are informed

  • Assist in country integrations and other ad-hoc projects when required

  • English: Fluent

  • Sufficient language skills to understand invoices

  • Reliable, precise, efficient, well organized

  • Flexible in work schedules (need to adjust to Asia Pacific business hours)

  • Good typing skills

  • Motivated (need to get the work completed successfully and accurately each day)

  • Capable of achieving the goals under pressure

  • Good at teamwork

  • Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint basic skills

  • Skills in leading a small group

  • Good sense of responsibility and problem solving
