The Senior Data Scientists will be focusing on different advanced analytics solutions, including Predictive Customer Intelligence, Predictive Maintenance, Fraud & Abuse Management and Supply Chain optimization (incl. Demand Forecasting and Inventory Optimization). Typical responsibilities include;· Converting a business problem into an analytical solution in collaboration with our client and IBM colleagues· Leading other Data scientists and consultants in projects, hands-on and tactically· Identifying approaches to improve accuracy and effectiveness of analytics models.ProfileYou will already be working in an analytical role, for example in an external or internal consulting or technical sales role. We are particularly interested if you have proven experience delivering high-quality analytics within a commercial environment. You are familiar with key internal and external data sources and how they are gathered and put to use. You have deep experience with manipulating large volumes of data and you are hands-on with data manipulation and statistical languages and tools (e.g. SPSS, Python, R, SAS, Matlab, RDBMS, SQL). Also you are not afraid to improvise and to learn new skills through doing. Finally, you have strong business acumen and can translate quantitative insights and models for a non-technical audience.Our Senior Data Scientists should also enjoy transferring knowledge and guiding talented young analysts on the job, as part of helping to scale up our ambitious, high-performing data science consulting team.French/Dutch and English language is required for this position.From the team:"We are very much looking forward to meet you!"

· Master's Degree or PhD in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research and similar· Hands-on analytic skills, yet also a strategic thinker who can see the 'big picture' while handling the details.· Experience in hands-on use of statistical packages (i.e. SPSS, SAS, R, Python)· Experience in identifying and defining requirements and turning functional requirements into a predictive or prescriptive analytics solution that address difficult business solutions· Experience in solving clients' analytics problems and effectively communicating results and methodologiesExperience in leading teamsFrench or Dutch: FluentEnglish: Fluent
