IBM Worldwide Insurance Disbursements Analyst in BRATISLAVA, Slovakia

Working with Risk Insurance Management β€œRIM” team to understand the WW insurance billing and disbursement processes, including all related issues such as: payment deadlines, impact to local G/Ls, impact of delayed or non-payment, tax implications. Identify the current worldwide invoices and create a structure to track all of them across countries and programs. Lead the project to centralize all insurance payments out of Bratislava.Managing the payment of insurance invoices for all countries WW that require local payment

  • Determine the relevant payment tool for all local payments (APU, TPS, IMAGE Kiosk etc.)

  • Coordinate the receipt of invoice. (either through Broker or CHQ RIM)

  • Validate the amount of premium (either through Broker or CHQ RIM)

  • Ensure tax amounts are validated for VAT, Insurance premium tax (where applicable), and other indirect taxes. This is either validated in the relevant payment tool or must be validated manually working with local IBM tax.

  • Execute payments

  • Follow up to ensure payments were received by beneficiary.

  • Liaise with broker/insurance Co. on issues related to the invoice and payments.

  • Deal with any inquiries from the local country teams.

RIM Liaison for Risk for Risk of Loss Program (Transit Claims) - This role will oversee the ROL program from a RIM perspective to ensure that claims are processed according to the ROL program rules.

  • Participate I all cadence calls to ensure the teams are appropriately reporting claims.

  • Review claims reports – analyse volumes and trends that may highlight potential issues.

  • Using the claims data, cadence calls and other engagement, monitor adherence to loss control measures.

  • Discern whether there may be any underlying loss control weaknesses – discuss with the Business unit.

  • Provide periodic reporting of claims and insights to RIM and the management team.

Property Value Collection ProcessProvide support to the CHQ RIM team in the property value collections process. This involves working with IBM teams in accounting, RESO and finance and using data collected by the insurance company that is also our engineering firm.

  • Master degree (Economic and Finance degree)

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)

  • Active user of MS Office with focus on Excel (basic functions, work with large data files, filters, VLookUp, Pivot tables)

  • Good Organizational and communication skills

  • Reliable with sense for details
