As an IBM Software Client Architect, the candidate will assume overall technical leadership and responsibility for designing solutions that leverage the capabilities across the entire IBM portfolio and drive software and Software as a Service (SaaS) sales revenue. The Software Client Architect provide leadership of technical activities during the sales cycle, set a vision for customers, lead requirements gathering and analysis, design solutions, facilitate demos and presentations and work as an integral part of a sales team to drive customer success. This is a technical sales leadership position. It is a customer facing role and the candidate should have the ability to work with Client Line of Business Executives and be able to work in a collaborative role with IBM sales teams and business partners.The primary teams the IBM Software Client Architect will work with:

Demonstrated evidence of full-lifecycle solution delivery, from requirements definition through sustainment. Skills should be current to contemporary technical trends. These include cloud-based architectures, big data analytics, congnitive solutions, mobile solutions, and IoT. In addition, this position supports the Federal defense and intelligence community. Must understand unique security requirements of mission solutions deployed in these environments.
SCAs generally have at least 10 years of technical experience, including at least 5 in Federal.
