As the Senior Program Manager, you will serve as the engagement’s single point of contact and have overall responsibility and accountability for the achievement of the objectives to the customer and IBM. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for:

  • Providing overall leadership and supervision of a large interdisciplinary team assigned to the project, including functional and technical personnel

  • Providing day to day on site program leadership and mentoring of staff

  • Interacting with multiple client stakeholders

  • Achieving project goals and objectives, as outlined in the Statement of Work.

  • Ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction for a large scale government contract

  • Identifying, scoping, and documenting new services opportunities within the program

  • Briefing senior client executives and IBM executives on a regular basis

  • At least five years of Program Management experience for large scale Federal programs

  • Experience managing projects with over 100 staff and TCV exceeding $30M

  • EVMS

  • PMI certification

  • ITIL, CMMI, EVM education/certification

  • Excellent verbal and written communication
