The Server System Partner Rep. is responsible for the sale of IBM z Systems and Power Systems hardware and software products to both existing and new clients in a defined territory. A successful specialist will achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets for opportunity identification, revenue and profitability. Key to success in this role is close collaboration and partnerships across the IBM sales eco-system (with client relationship teams, pre- and post-sale technical resources, and specialists representing other IBM product units) and business partner eco-system (including authorized resellers, systems integrators and independent software vendors). An aptitude for the sale of differentiated information technology solutions, efficient territory management discipline, solid financial selling and business casing skills, and excellent communications skills both written and verbal are minimum requirements in this position. An aggressive, motivated self-starter will have the attitude, drive and persistence to create, pursue and win in this competitive marketplace. Knowledge of the IBM server portfolio is an asset but not a mandatory requirement.
