They provide Mobility & Workplace Services solution recommendations for their clients applying their broad technical skills, industry knowledge and business acumen expertise for consulting engagements, project services and managed services
These recommendations leverage IBM technologies, reference architectures and technical work products from GTS's portfolio to solve the client's business challenges and client deliver value, while ensuring technical viability and project profitability
What you’ll do:
Client Technical Architects create and maintain strong, trusted client relationships at all levels within the client's business
Design MobileFirst Services solution recommendations for their clients applying their MobileFirst technical skills, industry knowledge and business acumen expertise.
Provide integrated solutions and offerings to solve the client's business challenges and deliver value
The MobileFirst Services Solution Architect is responsible for all aspects of services solution development including: Technical services solution qualification, Participation in client meetings to articulate solution technical benefits, Managing, coordinating, designing and/or leading proof of concept/technology efforts, Managing Client requirements gathering, Responsible for solution development using Team Solution Design including: Technical solution aspects, Architecture, Performance, Hardware, Software, Agents/Adaptors/End points, Project / Solution Aspects Development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and cost cases Technical execution Labor sourcing Internal controls
Assisting in technical, QA and/or services solution assurance reviews prior to contract signing
Handling escalations and resolving issues that are impacting solution design or individual opportunities
Working with the team to begin delivery with a focus on IBM and client success
Contributing to signings, revenue, and profit by developing and delivering high quality services solutions that win in the marketplace
