Who you are:This role designs applications required to automate business processes and meet business needs. The resulting design may run on multiple platforms and may be composed of multiple software packages and custom components. This role defines best practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data, and the development of the application, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools. Applications architects are responsible for applications-related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity. They are also responsible for the functional interface to applications and for ensuring application usability. The employee influences the functional strategy What you’ll do:

  • As an Application Architect for IBM applications you will

  • Design the overall architecture and infrastructure design

  • Develop the infrastructure plan

  • Manage the development of infrastructure for the ERP Program

  • Design and implement physical relationships between IBM environments

  • Ensure infrastructure activities are integrated and addressed

  • Participate in system performance tuning

  • Implement and transition security strategy for the architecture and remote access strategy supports ERP Program Management efforts

  • Handling of workflows, order management and data management.

  • Hands on experience in Web services, Web technologies - development of interfaces, adapters XML transformations, XSLT, Parsing and debugging skills.

  • Play a key role in understand and Capture Business/IT requirement and preparation of its documentation and review.

  • Mentor and build technology teams for new technologies. -Webservices/Transformations - SOAP, REST, XSLT, XML, JSON and Middleware -Websphere Application Server

  • ITIL processes, eTOM frameworks.

  • Hands on experience in Web services, Web technologies - development of interfaces, adapters

  • XML transformations, XSLT, Parsing and debugging skills
