Discover what you can make of this moment and embark on the journey with us at IBM Watson as a Solutions Analyst working as a key member of a highly-skilled, results-oriented management team.This Solution’s Analyst role will have the opportunity to integrate with IBM business units, project managers, infrastructure architects & project teams throughout the year to analyze and report the operational costs of what drives their products. This role will be an intricate part of all product and development teams in realizing cost pertaining to running and maintaining a product. This role will advise company leadership on cost management and savings strategies. The solutions analyst will also monitor and analyze infrastructure costs to ensure correctness, look for savings, and manage vendor billing and internal chargeback relationships/operations. Some of the key Responsibilities and Deliverables in this role are:

  • Track usage and spending of our key vendors in the organization

  • Assist teams and management with shaping investments to maximize our cost savings.

  • Take over and maintain vendor relationships with our key partners.

  • Maintain a full view of how we utilize the vendor offerings, and participate with

  • architecture on cost analysis of solutions.

  • Manage and own the support interactions with our key vendors. Ensure we are able to

  • utilize their support fully, and push for changes when appropriate.

  • Generate new ideas on how to best solve problems - keep abreast of vendor offerings

  • and competitive offerings.

  • Continuously improve yourself, your team and the organization.

  • Strong working knowledge of formulas and pivot tables with Excel and/or Google Sheet.

  • Understanding of Data Analytics and Cloud Platforms.

  • Experience with creating and managing reporting functions.

  • Project documentation of issues and Tracking issues for customers and/or vendors.
