The Software Field Sales First Line Manager leads a team of highly competitive and experienced sales representatives who are responsible for the sale of IBM Collaboration, Talent Management & Analytics Software solutions to meet/exceed key business measurements and reporting requirements. Territory consist of East Coast Financial Services Market accounts, across three segments including, Financial Services, Banking and Insurance.While candidate can be based in any state, the Mid-Atlantic and North East are preferred. Responsibilities include:
Developing and cultivating client relationships and satisfaction. Successfully resolving any complaint issues.
Ensuring department revenue, cost and expense targets are met.
Developing short-term department planning objectives including resource requirements and client approaches; ensuring the appropriate skill mix is maintained for the customers and/or focus areas assigned including leveraging an ecosystem of sales resources and IBM Business Partners
Identifying and ensuring satisfactory completion of all skills development required by sales representatives to perform assignments.
Successfully executing the basic management responsibilities common to all IBM managers.
Leverage IBM as a global company to achieve local business objectives.
Proven track record in leading a complex enterprise software sales team to surpassing revenue goals
Ability to integrate an acquisition sales force into the IBM sales/distribution model
Proven track record of owning, cultivating & growing an enterprise sales territory
Experienced in hiring, mentoring, coaching, and leading account representatives
Ability to develop a strategic plan at the same time as executing on tactical quarterly commitments
Leadership in the areas of performance management, pipeline generation, and deal progression
Proficient in accurately forecasting a software transactional and SaaS business
Creative problem solver when dealing with "building a business"
Positive, motivational, and inspiring sales manager
Experience selling SaaS solutions to Sr Executives within Human Resources, Corporate Communications and Information Technolo
Financial Services industry experience selling to the C-suite.
2 years experience in success leading field sales organizations selling to mid and large companies driving six to seven figure contracts
2 years experience leading sales team with either collaboration or HR solutions
3 years experience working in large matrixed organizations
3 years experience working the Financial Services Sector
2 years experience proven track record of driving market penetration in whitespace and driving sales strategies for team success
Must be proficient in speaking English
