This is achieved by providing technical development support to enable the partner to identify new opportunities, define, design and validate the solution. In this role, here are some of the responsibilities:• Select together the key focus areas or development needs of the partner to drive growth• Establish Technical Enablement Plans for the partner addressing new solution areas, such as Object Store, and technical skill gaps• Deliver or facilitate briefings/demos on IBM strategies and solutions• Support the sale of “first of a kind” solutions while providing skills transfer to the partner• Escalate and resolve critical technical sales support issues needed to progress sales opportunities We are seeking individuals interested in making an impact to maintain and grow existing revenue streams and relationships. At least 5 years’ experience in Software Defined Storage for IBM and/or industry offerings, such as ViPR, Elastic Cloud Storage, ScaleIO.
At least 5 years’ experience in storage abstraction, provisioning, orchestration, protection in a virtualized storage environment
At least 2 years’ experience in design skills for both on premise, Cloud, and hybrid cloud storage solutions, that integrates storage hardware with Software
Understanding the difference between Block, File, and Object storage, and how they should be positioned for various workload
