The architect will work with various Oracle BI and BICS (cloud solutions) projects to manage delivery expectations and assist in resolution of project issues. The individual will at times be required to act as a technical architect in guiding client projects to the correct technical solution as well as reviewing the technical architecture solutions for proposals to future clients.The individual must have extensive experience implementing Oracle BI and the Oracle BI Applications in both Informatica and Oracle Data Integrator versions. The role requires that the individual have experience at a deep technical level in each technology but has also experienced the role of project/program manager on larger Oracle BI projects. Person must be familiar with the Oracle Implementation Methodology as well as both agile and waterfall approaches to the software development life cycle.The individual should be knowledgeable on other Oracle BI solutions including but not limited to Essbase, Discoverer, Endeca, Big Data Discovery, BI Cloud Services, and Golden Gate.Role requires individual to meet with clients and IBM project leadership, review project challenges and issues, and help successfully deliver the Oracle BI project. Individual may be involved at any phase of the project from initial planning and solution to assisting with the testing and defect resolution strategy, training plans and go-live cutovers. As the Senior Solution Architect this individual will also take the lead on being the point of contact in the practice for maintaining up to date knowledge on new Oracle BI product offerings and releases.This role will have exposure and familiarity to multi-dimensional industries. Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams embracing time zone and cultural aspects is a key to the success of this position.Main Responsibilities include:
Delivery advisement to all Oracle BI projects
Solution architecture advisement to all Oracle BI projects
Solution reviews of sales proposals
Maintaining up to date knowledge of all Oracle BI product releases
Planning knowledge sharing sessions for Oracle BI practitioners
Management of project delivery assets for the Oracle BI practice
Participation in sales orals presentations

At least 10 years consultancy experience working with Oracle BI products
At least 5 years and 6 implementations experience with Oracle BI Applications as a project manager.
At least 3 years of implementation experience with the 11g versions of the BI Applications.
At least 2 years experience in demonstrated understanding of Oracle Cloud concepts
At least 5 years experience in the ability to clearly describe end-to-end business processes and the key integration points, work cross-functionally across different business processes within an organization, and knowledge of challenges faced by implementation teams
Demonstrated technical capabilities in data warehouse design, ETL development concepts, Oracle BI metadata design and Oracle BI front end development
Understanding of proper Project Management processes. PMP certification is a plus.
