IBM Marketplace Offering Manager in Austin, Texas

  • Act as the voice of the customer, focus on understanding business needs and aligning various stakeholders across IBM

  • Leverage IBM Design Thinking for the development process, work in agile mode, prioritize the backlog

  • Become an expert on the market/industry, competitors, and future B2B and B2C trends

  • Work with customers/stakeholders to identify marketplace requirements and user experience

  • Evaluate competitor capabilities and innovations

  • Collaborate with design and development to deliver differentiated capabilities

  • Work across a broad group of stakeholders in different disciplines and business units to deliver a unified IBM digital experience

  • Write clear market-driven software product requirements related to market needs, customer needs and solution needs

  • Help define and communicate the marketplace capabilities road map to continually improve the user experience based on ongoing customer research, feedback, and performance

Position can be located in the following:Austin, TX, Raleigh, NC or New York, NY


  • 5+ years relevant product management experience

  • Experience building online services, preferably both B2B and B2C

  • Ability to identify and to assimilate lots of ideas and sources of information

  • Ability to prioritize and drive decision-making processes in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas at varying levels of detail to align stakeholders and constituents

  • Ability to work closely with design throughout the release process to deliver an integrated user experience

  • Ability to work well and lead cross functional teams

  • Experience building online services, preferably both B2B and B2C
