The Commerce Software as a Service (SaaS) Sales Specialist will act as a Sales Subject Matter Expert for SaaS opportunities within the IBM Commerce portfolio. This role will assist field sales and sales management in the qualification of opportunities, the crafting of SaaS solutions within the Commerce category, and assistance in developing proposals, customer closings and bookings. You will be expected to not only be a subject matter expert, but to lead sales teams as they pursue opportunities, take authoritative lead in complex sales scenarios, including interaction with Senior Executives both at the Client and within IBM. This role requires a broad array of soft skillsets, especially executive acumen, interpersonal and organizational influence capabilities. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, time management and work prioritization abilities, as well as being able to be highly motivated. An excellent ability to communicate in written and verbal form, as well as to present publicly, and to interact with Legal Counsel is required.
