Operating a Services business at scale is a directly quantifiable skill set, and IBM's Watson Marketing Services is in search of an up-line leader to run the Managed Services business. The ideal candidate wakes up every day and both asks difficult questions and moves with a purpose around resource utilization, business process efficiency and service delivery excellence. They innately understand how to keep a large-scale services business running like a Swiss clock. At the same time, they should have the strategic vision to view the Watson Marketing technology portfolio and their people’s skills as the core building blocks for future Managed Services offerings that diversify the business away from software attachment toward market-leading stand-alone revenue streams.Lead and grow a multi million dollar Managed Services business supporting multiple enterprise marketing tools including both SaaS and on-premise in the areas of multichannel campaign, marketing automation and analytics. The Position requires a unique blend of operational efficiency and self-starting entrepreneur to equally support a strong existing revenue business, but also shape new Service Delivery methods and approaches to embrace all-new revenue streams.The ideal candidate will be a role model for IBM values, ensure financial integrity and business controls and inspire an integrated team and drive a culture of high business eminence.   • At least 8-10 years experience in a high-velocity Managed Services business covering both customer-facing strategies and back-end production services.

  • Experience managing and optimizing a geographically diverse workforce, including offshore resources ranging from 25 to 100 staves.

  • Must be able to motivate and empower seasoned professionals to deliver their best work while maintaining strong individual and group utilization goals that drive a profitable practice.

  • At least 4-6 years of experience as a billable resource in a Services setting, and 2-3 subsequent years in an up-line leader capacity in an agency, consultancy or other high-velocity services-driven business.

  • Candidates with knowledge in Spanish and/or Portuguese will be an added advantage.

  • Both National and International travel is required in this role.
