IBM Creative Developer in ATLANTA, Georgia

In this Creative Developer role, you will be working with an award winning Creative Team. Your direct teammates will include other Developers, Project Managers, and Designers. Your customers will include various Ad Sales support groups, Consumer Product, Ad Product, Mobile Developers, and Web Developers, supporting all weather properties.Your daily tasks will include maintenance, streamlining, and troubleshooting our Creative templates in DFP, and developing tools to streamline common operational practices and processes. You will also be involved in brainstorming and building proofs of concept for new Creative Ad Products in Weather’s Publisher Emerging Platforms, which today include: Desktop Computers, Laptops, Tablets & Mobile (both iOS and Android), SmartTV’s, and any ongoing emerging devices.You will act as a consultant on technical capabilities centered around media capabilities (EX: HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript Technologies) on the Product side of the business. This includes getting involved in Agile planning sessions, hands-on collaboration with our Development teams, building concept demos, documentation, and experimenting with never before seen executions.As Creative Developer, you will be required to attend and become a leader in the advertising industry by attending various IAB Working group calls pertaining to New Media Solutions on both the creative and technical level. In addition to attending working groups, you will be expected to become the spokesperson for weather on various subject matters throughout the year and as technology evolves. AdOps, Ad Products, and Ad Technology will use your knowledge and recommendations to ensure Creative technicalities fall in line with systems and ad server setup.You will manage core JavaScript libraries that are relevant to our DFP Ad Serving environment. These JS code libraries are continuously changing and need leadership is needed to ensure Creative Developers and our Ad Technology teams are in sync with coding methodologies and practices.The ideal candidate must be extremely comfortable working directly with numerous internal stakeholders, proactively providing technical solutions, and work well within a very fast paced cross-functional team with strict deadlines. Being a creative hybrid will be key, meaning that you can quickly jump back and forth between Adobe Software and Coding editors depending on what you’re executing.
