IBM Global Business Services (GBS) is hiring a Strategist with broad subject matter expertise in Content Marketing to join our marketing team in New York City, NY—showcase your expert writing and communication skills while infusing innovative thinking across numerous teams to create and drive unique assets.Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and drive content strategies and plans that are aligned to buyers journeys with assets that bring key value props and messages to life

  • Build and write compelling story lines that can be easily turned into content assets and delivered throughout social and digital media channels

  • Drive asset execution with a deep understanding of asset performance

  • Bring innovative thinking to develop digital and social-first content that is cohort relevant and engaging

  • Collaborate across multiple teams, including our Business Analytics and Strategy and Cognitive Business Solutions

  • Identify and enhance key external and internal communities as vehicles to evangelize key messages, assets, and cohort based activities

  • At least 7 years of experience in marketing and communications, designing comprehensive communications programs

  • At least 4 years of experience analyzing communication channels and applying digital tools and techniques related to communication channels

  • Demonstrated experience in messaging and storytelling

  • Demonstrated expert writing skills

  • Proven ability to develop and publish content

  • Proven ability to work in a matrixed organization with related marketing roles

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating client-facing assets for digital outreach, including videos, demos, sample apps, blogs, etc.
