Performing at an advanced level, the UX designer will design innovative, easy-to-use weather related enterprise applications for our desktop, mobile or web platforms. The ideal candidate should be able to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Design user interfaces, including creating wireframe mockups, screen flows and interactive prototypes.
Complete detailed user interaction specifications for functionality and behaviors.
Work closely with Product management and customers to establish product vision. Come up with bold and smart product ideas that help solve user and business needs.
Implement relevant industry standards and best practices into designs.
Coordinate with software engineering, product management, marketing, and customers to evaluate, prioritize and clarify requirements and future enhancements.
Collaborate with software engineering on implementation issues to resolve questions of software behavior.
Comfortably give and take design feedback and successfully sell ideas to internal stakeholders.
Participate in and lead usability testing/user research activities to understand target users’ workflow, goals and tasks.
Provide leadership in establishing design activities for each project. Recommend process improvements.

7+ years of demonstrated proficiency designing interactive applications for Web, iOS and Android platforms preferably for complex data intensive applications. Advanced proficiency in creating wireframes using Visio, Adobe InDesign, Sketch or similar products.
Experienced in user research including formal usability testing, interviewing and surveys.
Experience with agile methodologies.
