IBM Watson - Program Manager in ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates

This role is responsible for successful engagement between Watson Solutions and one or more of our strategic partners. These partnerships are characterized by a complex combination of technical, business, and financial issues related to the strategic and tactical direction of the program and partner.The Program Manager will coordinate and lead a matrix of teams from the Watson Group, including development, services, sales & marketing, enablement, and cloud. The key objective is to deliver IBM's commitments for the partnership. As these partnerships are international engagements, and multiple towers in IBM are involved, diplomacy, organization, and communications skills are premium required skills.Examples of responsibilities includes:1. Lead key partner planning and management meetings to define Watson solution & key content. Facilitate regular communication among the key stakeholders.2. Work with partner to capture the business processes & use cases associated with their customers' needs for Watson solutions3. Work with partner to set goals, objectives and key milestones for solution development & delivery consistent with IBM strategy for Watson.4. Provide partner with Single Point of Contact for issues that may affect solution and solution delivery.5. Identify any issues and problems that need immediate focus and resolution. Leverage key resources across IBM to resolve issues quickly.6. Assess the current and ongoing readiness to achieve solution objective utilizing project plans.7. Provide regular status reporting to and with key stakeholders against goals, objectives & milestones.8. Manage budget, claim, and capital.9. Oversee business controls, security and compliance to achieve audit ready posture10. Oversee effort to package educational and procedural content about Watson Cognitive Services for consumption by a partner.In this particular role, you will have to work with global strategic partners in order to facilitate Watson deployments on premises and in support of the partner's client base. You must be comfortable working with global teams & clients. Significant international travel will be required, and opportunities for international assignments are available. Required· High School Diploma/GED· At least 3 years experience in Perform Complex Project Management Execution· At least 3 years experience in Apply Communications Skills - Mastered or Innovative Leadership Level· At least 3 years experience in Apply Delivery Management Execution· At least 3 years experience in Leading Global Teams· At least 1 year experience in Leading Engagements with Global Customers· At least 3 years experience in Managing Stakeholder Relationships· Readiness to travel 50% travel annually· English: Fluent Preferred· Bachelor's Degree· At least 5 years experience in Perform Complex Project Management Execution· At least 5 years experience in Apply Communications Skills - Mastered or Innovative Leadership Level· At least 5 years experience in Apply Delivery Management Execution· At least 5 years experience in Leading Global Teams· At least 3 years experience in Leading Engagements with Global Customers· At least 5 years experience in Managing Stakeholder Relationships· Certified in Project Management Institute (PMI)· Certified in IBM Certified Project Manager· Arabic : Basic knowledge
